In July I traveled to the Republic of Georgia (საქართველო). One of the trip highlights was visiting the Gergeti Trinity Church (წმინდა სამება) near Mt. Kazbegi (close to the border with Russia). It was a stunning church in the midst of gorgeous mountains.
After the journey down the mountain, I learned how to make khinkali (ხინკალი). Khinkali are Georgian dumplings typically made with lamb or beef, onions, cumin, and cilantro.
