On 25 January 2021, I represented the World Methodist Council at the Vespers for the conclusion of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity held at the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls in Rome. Unfortunately, Pope Francis had recurrent sciatica and was unable to attend. H.E. Cardinal Kurt Koch, president of the Pontifical Council on Promoting Christian Unity, presided.
